Explore the SCN1
From Redbridge Flyover, follow the cycle path and cross at Old Redbridge Road (pictured). Continue along Redbridge Road towards Second Avenue.
Follow the cycle path along Redbridge Road until you reach the junction at Allington Road. Please take care while crossing here and look out for traffic turning in and out of the road.
New segregated off-road cycleway along Second Avenue, from Allington Road until Millbrook Roundabout.
Millbrook Roundabout was completely reconstructed and resurfaced as part of major works that completed earlier this year. Cross at the pair of traffic lights at Millbrook Roundabout and continue along the cycle path on to Third Avenue or turn right on to First Avenue.
New segregated off-road cycleway on First Avenue. After crossing at Millbrook Roundabout, turn right on to First Avenue for access to the western docks.
For the city centre, follow the cycle path after Millbrook Roundabout and cross on to Third Avenue. Take care crossing here and look out for traffic leaving the junction.
New segregated cycleway along Third Avenue from Manor House Avenue through to Goals.
Cycle path continues round from Third Avenue on to Millbrook Point Road.
From Millbrook Point Road, turn right on to Millbrook Road West. The shared use path has been resurfaced as part of improvements to the route.
After Millbrook Station, follow the shared use path along Paynes Road and head under the underpass. Continue straight on for Shirley or turn right on to the shared use path (pictured) for Millbrook Road East and the city centre. The path here has been widened for greater access.
Millbrook Road East is a very quiet on road section of the route, featuring new traffic calming measures including planters, bollards and urban furniture.
For Shirley, continue to the end of Millbrook Road East on to Shirley Road. Or turn right on to the shared use path (pictured) down to Southbrook Road and Central Station.
