During our Sustainable City Expo, staff from University of Southampton, Moore Blatch, Aviva and BBC South shared their experiences, challenges and solutions in implementing sustainable travel initiatives across their workplaces.
My Journey supports workplaces to make their business journeys more sustainable, offering a range of solutions according to the needs and goals of the organisation. Coopervision - Collaborating with My Journey Workplaces
Emma Purchase, Environment Specialist at Coopervision, has worked with the My Journey Workplaces team since 2018. Here she describes some of the ways in which they have collaborated during that time, including on a project to share colleagues' stories of travelling actively throughout the organsation, to inspire others to do the same.

Fareham Innovation Centre - Developing a Travel Plan (video)
A Travel Plan has been created for the new Innovation Centre and various measures have been delivered to support this, including the production of marketing materials to promote sustainable travel and various events for staff such as Active Travel Days and a surgery session once a month. Hear from staff who are now commuting more actively.

Bowman Power - Solving a car parking crisis
Bowman Power received cycle shelters and offers Bike Dr sessions to increase cycling among employees. They have managed to ensure enough car parking can be provided without extending the car park.
We have many more examples of how organisations have been supported in reducing their workforce's reliance on car travel which we would be delighted to share.
