We want to help you fix your own bike!
Southampton Bike Kitchen is a DIY workshop where Southampton residents can learn the skills necessary to fix their own bikes. Set up by My Journey Southampton and SoMakeIt, a non-profit Makerspace, this service is Southampton's first ever 'Bike Kitchen' and has been open since February 2016.
How it works
You fix your bike yourself - with help from our knowledgeable volunteers.
Volunteers will on hand to answer any questions, provide help, guidance and advice.
Use the space and equipment for FREE!
Please note: you will be required to work on your own bike at all times. Bikes do not get serviced or repaired by the volunteers. The only charge is for new parts. Wear suitable clothing and be prepared to get your hands dirty!
When to visit
Drop in sessions are available to everyone on Monday nights (excluding bank holiday Mondays) from 7pm-9.00pm.
Where to find us
Southampton Bike Kitchen is located in So Make It, Unit F, Liners Industrial Estate, SO15 3FQ. Enter the industrial estate by turning left at the very end of Pitt Road, go over the speed bumps and turn left, continuing past the car garages. So Make It is located at the far end of the estate.
