Bike Month

Throughout June Love to Ride is inviting everyone to take part in Bike Month, a national campaign to get more people on bikes.

There will be daily prize draws throughout the month. Each week one rider will receive £500 to donate to their local Bikes for Key Workers initiative or Coronavirus Community Support group of their choice. Love to Ride will also be giving away two brand new bikes (drawn on 15 June and 1 July) and daily spot prizes throughout June.

To enter the prize draws, simply register here on the Love to Ride website and enter your rides manually or by connecting your account with a cycling app such as Strava, MapMyRide or Endomondo. You only have to ride for ten minutes to be in with a chance of winning!

Once registered to the Love to Ride site, you can set yourself goals, track your mileage, earn badges, share photos and encourage others to ride. You can also set up a group for your workplace to enjoy some friendly competition and keep each other motivated by setting shared goals and tracking your progress as a group.

Anyone can take part in Bike Month - it doesn't matter if you ride every day or if you haven't been on a bike in years. The aim is to help people of all cycling abilities to enjoy the fun and freedom of riding bikes and support people to ride confidently for transport as the country gets moving again. Bike Month is also about sharing the joys and benefits of riding bikes and emphasising how cycling can help us make the ‘new normal’ cleaner, greener and healthier than ever.
